About The Position

Suncrest At Brighton/Suncrest Hospice's goal is to change the expectation of hospice care by providing exceptional care and service to patients. This is achieved by allocating resources to increase staff to patient ratios, thereby increasing clinical visits while lowering clinician caseloads. The Director of Intake/Admissions works closely with the business development team and referral sources. The Director of Intake is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of the Intake Coordination team and the admissions team.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice
• At least 1 year of hospice experience
• Two years of nursing experience
• Must be willing to drive with reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
• At least 1-2 years of Hospice admission experience
• Great leadership skills with the ability to inspire the trust of others
• Balance team and individual responsibilities
• Exhibit objectivity and openness to others' views, contribute to holding each other accountable and building a positive team spirit
• Put the success of team above own interests
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness
• Monitor and self-correct own work processes and outcomes; apply feedback from others to improve performance
