About The Position

Community Options, Inc. (COI) is seeking an experienced, strategic, and collaborative Director of Information Technology to lead the planning, implementation, security, and continuous improvement of the organization's technology infrastructure. As a member of our Administrative Leadership Team, you will play a key role in advancing technology solutions that support our mission of providing exceptional services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout western Colorado. The Director of Information Technology provides leadership for all agency technology operations, including network infrastructure, cybersecurity, servers, cloud services, telecommunications, hardware, software, business applications, vendor management, technology budgeting, disaster recovery, and strategic technology planning. This position oversees IT projects from concept through implementation, ensures compliance with applicable security and regulatory requirements, manages technology assets and vendor relationships, develops IT policies and procedures, and identifies innovative solutions that improve operational efficiency and service delivery. The Director also supervises IT staff, provides technical leadership and mentoring, collaborates with executive leadership and department directors, supports technology needs across Payroll, Human Resources, Finance, and Operations, and delivers exceptional customer service to employees throughout the organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible IT leadership experience.

Responsibilities
