About The Position

The Director of Information Services manages personnel in the Information Services, Telecommunications, and Communication departments. The role oversees information services functions and equipment usage, keeps current with new equipment, coordinates with external user departments and vendors, meets budget requirements, and manages multiple projects. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of management experience, with further experience as a systems analyst and/or in programming.
• Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheets.
• Ability to organize and prioritize.
• Self-starter with extensive oral and written communication abilities and skills.
• Attentive to details.
• College degree in Information Systems or Computer Science, or equivalent management experience within Information Services.

Nice To Haves

• Previous hospital experience is desirable.

• Manage all personnel in the Information Services, Telecommunications, and Communication departments.
• Monitor all functions of information services.
• Monitor equipment usage.
• Maintain and keep current on new equipment.
• Maintain contact with external user departments and outside vendors.
