About The Position

Our client, a rapidly growing, national business located north of Indianapolis, Indiana, is looking for a talented Director of Human Resources. The Director of HR plays a pivotal role on the leadership team and reports to the President. This leader interacts with employees throughout their entire time at the company, from recruiting new hires to employee engagement, employee relations, performance management, and succession planning. The Director of HR partners on employee benefits and compensation, as well as the day-to-day administration of all people processes. This person acts as a strategic consultant to managers, guiding them in best practices and people leadership skills. Requirements

  • 10+ years of human resources experience required with 5+ years of HR management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • Experience in multi-state organizations required
  • Working experience with HRIS and payroll systems

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM-CP or PHR preferred
  • HR Generalist experience in a manufacturing and service company is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead HR across multiple operating entities and a parent organization
  • Lead the entire recruitment life-cycle, from planning and organizing through onboarding and training
  • Support all employee relations, as a liaison, advocate, and ambassador for the company’s culture
  • Ensure regulatory compliance for the company, including employment law, filings and safety
  • Administer HR processes including, policies and procedures, organizational development, HR KPI’s, and HRIS
  • Partner on employee benefits administration and payroll in a multi-state environment
