We are seeking an experienced HR Director to lead human resources for a senior living community of 275 employees. This role partners closely with leadership to drive workforce stability, play a key role in retention, and foster a strong, engaged culture. Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday Wage: $115,000-$130,000 annually

Requirements

  • 7+ years of HR experience, including leadership
  • Long-term care, senior living, or healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • Strong employee relations and compliance background
  • Demonstrated success in improving employee retention
  • Strong technology skills (HRIS experience required) and highly organized
  • Data-driven with the ability to partner effectively with leadership
  • SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP preferred (SPHR/PHR also considered)

Nice To Haves

  • Long-term care, senior living, or healthcare experience strongly preferred
  • SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP preferred (SPHR/PHR also considered)

Responsibilities

  • Lead employee relations, including investigations and performance management
  • Drive retention strategies and monitor turnover and staffing metrics
  • Oversee employee training and development programs, including onboarding and leadership support
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and healthcare regulations
  • Oversee compensation, benefits, and HR operations, including collaboration with Accounting on payroll processing, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Provide strategic oversight of recruiting and employee experience initiatives
