Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years of HR experience (hospitality experience preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including EEO, FMLA, ADA, and OSHA
  • Proven experience in recruiting, retention, and employee relations
  • Ability to interpret and apply employment laws while advising property leadership
  • Experience leading engagement, performance management, and talent development programs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to manage a diverse workforce with professionalism and cultural awareness
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and sound judgment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Affirmative Action programs is a plus
  • SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, employee relations, talent development, and compliance
  • Partner with hotel leadership to align people strategies with business goals
  • Drive innovative recruiting and retention initiatives to build a high-performing team
  • Champion employee engagement and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Guide performance management processes and support leadership development
  • Serve as a resource and advisor for managers and team members on HR-related matters
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and implement best practices to continuously elevate the employee experience
