About The Position

The HR Director in Healthcare is responsible for overseeing and managing the strategic direction of human resources functions within a healthcare organization. This role focuses on ensuring that the organization attracts, develops, and retains a skilled, diverse, and compassionate workforce, while also promoting compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining a positive workplace culture. The HR Director collaborates with leadership to align HR practices with the organization's overall mission, values, and goals, particularly in providing high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include leading talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, and workforce planning. The HR Director also plays a key role in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment, driving employee engagement, and addressing workforce challenges unique to the healthcare industry, such as high turnover rates and staffing shortages. This role also involves implementing policies and practices that ensure legal and ethical compliance, promoting a safe working environment, and advocating for continuous improvement of human resource processes within the healthcare sector.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • A minimum of five years progressive experience in Human Resources, healthcare preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of Director experience Required.
