Director of Housekeeping
About The Position
This role is responsible for managing the housekeeping department to ensure a 5-star guest experience by leading a team that delivers spotless rooms and warm service. The Director of Housekeeping will also keep the department on budget by managing labor, cutting costs, and finding savings. They will train and coach Associates on cleanliness standards, brand expectations, and why details matter. This role involves managing the department with confidence, handling staffing decisions, performance feedback, and disciplinary actions. Additionally, the Director will partner with other departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hotel management experience
- Housekeeping leadership background
- High school diploma (or higher)
- Strong tech skills – Familiarity with Microsoft Office and hotel systems
- Flexibility and stamina – ready for any shift or task, and can lift up to 50 lbs
