About The Position

Trustbridge Hospice, a member of Empath Health, is seeking an inspiring and forward-thinking Regional Director of Hospice Admissions (RN) to lead and elevate the hospice admissions experience. In this pivotal role, you will oversee regional admissions operations, guide a high-performing clinical team, and ensure patients and families receive timely, compassionate access to care. You’ll serve as the central escalation point for admissions needs, driving operational excellence, service consistency, and strong referral relationships. Since 1978, Trustbridge Hospice has been honored to serve families across Palm Beach and Broward counties with compassionate, community-based care. Formed from the legacy of Hospice by the Sea and Hospice of Palm Beach County, we continue to provide comfort, dignity, and peace to those facing advanced illness. As part of Empath Health, we support patients and their loved ones with guidance and care every step of the way.

Requirements

  • Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license with hospice admissions experience
  • Minimum 3 years of leadership experience, preferably in hospice admissions, access, or sales-related functions with teams of 20+ team members
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Strong knowledge of hospice and palliative care regulations and compliance standards
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to travel between multiple locations

  • Master’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual skills preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee regional hospice admissions operations, ensuring timely, compliant, and compassionate access to Empath Health services across Palm Beach and Broward counties.
  • Develop, mentor, and empower a high-performing admissions team through coaching, engagement, and performance accountability.
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for admissions and access issues, providing steady leadership support and ensuring seamless 24/7 responsiveness.
  • Monitor key admissions metrics, identify trends, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and the overall patient and family experience.
  • Build and strengthen strategic relationships with internal teams, referral partners, and community stakeholders to support growth and streamline access pathways.
  • Champion a culture of empathy, clarity, and service excellence, ensuring every patient and family is welcomed with dignity and understanding.
