About The Position
The Care Team Hospice is looking for a Full-Time Admissions Nurse in Mishawaka, Indiana and surrounding areas. The hours for this position are Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm with call. Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing
- Current State license as a Registered Nurse
- Current Drivers License
- Two years experience as a Registered Nurse in a clinical care setting
- 1 yr full time hospice experience
- Nursing skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice.
- Knowledge of State and Federal Regulations.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Valid and current auto liability insurance.
- Proof of current CPR.
- Ability to work flexible schedule.
- Ability to travel locally.
- PRN emergency call.
Responsibilities
- Perform admissions and administer nursing care for patients of all ages in their place of residence.
- Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary group, patient/family and referring agency.
- Assume the responsibility for coordination of care.
