The associate must have a clear understanding of the Golf, Membership and Concessions Operations. This role is responsible for the oversight, coaching, and development of Resort Head Professional, Membership Head Professional, and Concessions Managers. The position involves the creation, implementation, and accountability for all departmental SOP’s, LSOP’s, and sequence of service standards, as well as final approval of all weekly operations schedules. The Director of Golf will create and support golf operation leaders in various areas including cart maintenance, uniform planning, range maintenance programs, range ball inventory, rental club asset management, lost and found processes, and daily art cleanliness programs. Additionally, the role oversees membership golf operations, assists with member complaints, approves the membership golf event calendar, and coaches golf professionals within the membership department. Financial responsibilities include managing the annual golf operations expense budget, forecast, and checkbook, operating the business according to budget and demand, and overseeing payroll records. The Director of Golf will also partner with the Dir of Agronomy to build and communicate golf course and practice facility maintenance programs and schedules, and act as a liaison between EZGO and Textron for golf cart operations and billing. A full understanding of the tee times system, including rate building and tee sheet maximization, is required.
