Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) – Multi-Site Food Manufacturing Leader
About The Position
Rosina Food Products is seeking a strategic Director of Food Safety & Quality Assurance (FSQA) to lead enterprise-wide food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality initiatives across multiple manufacturing facilities. This high-impact leadership role is for an individual who thrives in USDA-regulated RTE and FDA environments, knows how to build strong food safety systems, and can lead high-performing teams. The Director will oversee quality leaders across multiple plants, drive consistency across operations, and be a key voice in shaping the company's long-term food safety strategy. This role is ideal for someone who has successfully led multi-site food safety programs, managed regulatory audits, and can balance compliance with operational partnership.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive Food Safety/Quality leadership experience in RTE USDA-regulated manufacturing environments and FDA environments required
- HACCP certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field required
Nice To Haves
- Multi-site leadership experience strongly preferred
- PCQI certification preferred
- BRC audit experience preferred
- MBA preferred
Responsibilities
- Lead food safety and quality programs across multiple manufacturing facilities
- Oversee USDA, FDA, BRC, HACCP, GMP, sanitation, and regulatory compliance initiatives
- Lead and mentor site Quality Managers across all locations
- Standardize food safety procedures, policies, and best practices company-wide
- Drive audit readiness for USDA, FDA, customer, and third-party audits
- Lead corrective action planning and root cause analysis for compliance issues
- Partner closely with Operations, Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, and Executive Leadership
- Build food safety dashboards, KPIs, and reporting metrics for senior leadership
- Support new product launches, process improvements, and operational growth initiatives
- Develop future FSQA leaders through training, coaching, and succession planning
