About The Position

We’re looking for an experienced, energetic, and people-focused Fitness Director to lead our instructor team and help us deliver an exceptional member experience. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who loves Pilates, develops people, holds high standards, and thrives in a fast-paced boutique fitness environment. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key leadership role in a growing boutique Pilates brand.

Requirements

Strong Pilates/fitness industry experience and leadership skills
Passionate about developing instructors and building a strong team culture
Communicates clearly and professionally
Organized, proactive, and highly accountable
Strong eye for detail and consistently high standards
Loves creating an elevated, welcoming member experience
Can balance leadership responsibilities with hands-on studio involvement

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and develop our instructor team and Lead Instructor Team
Recruit, onboard, train, and coach instructors
Conduct class audits and provide ongoing feedback and development
Maintain high standards for class quality, programming, safety, and member experience
Oversee instructor scheduling, substitutions, and coverage
Serve as the primary point of contact for the instructional team
Lead instructor meetings and continuing education
Monitor class attendance, member feedback, retention, and instructor performance
Partner with ownership and management on studio growth and retention initiatives
Oversee studio equipment needs and help maintain a safe, polished studio environment
Use systems including Mindbody, NetGym, and ClassPass to support both instructors and studio operations
Teach a set number of classes each week and remain actively connected to our members
