About The Position

Town and Country Resort is looking for a seasoned Director of Finance to join their Executive Committee and help lead one of San Diego's most dynamic resort operations. This role involves managing a high-volume resort with 671 guest rooms, multiple restaurants and bars, and extensive meeting and event space. The ideal candidate is a strategic finance leader who can see beyond the numbers, influence business decisions, and guide the future of the resort. The position offers the opportunity to work in a complex and collaborative environment within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Partner with the General Manager and Executive Team to drive profitability and business performance.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable business decisions.
• Oversee cash management, capital planning, audits, and compliance.
• Analyze labor, purchasing, inventory, and operational costs to identify opportunities and risks.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant.
• Develop and mentor a talented finance team.
• Participate in strategic planning and help shape the direction of the resort.
