About The Position

The Director of Finance provides strategic financial leadership and governance to support enterprise business decisions while ensuring compliance with GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements across domestic and international entities. This role is accountable for the accuracy, completeness, and oversight of audit financials, tax returns, treasury operations, lending and covenant reporting, and related finance controls.

Requirements

  • Seven or more years of finance, accounting, tax, treasury, and/or audit leadership experience, including experience leading multi-entity organizational structures and teams.
  • Expert knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, domestic and foreign tax regulations, and internal control structures, including the COSO framework.
  • Experience with international accounting, transfer pricing, and global mobility requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities across accounting, audit, tax, treasury, budgeting, forecasting, and international finance.
  • Strong ERP (NetSuite preferred), financial reporting, financial analysis, process improvement, and operational management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner cross-functionally with teams such as Sales, Legal, Operations, and HR
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (required)

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. (preferred)
  • CPA preferred but not required.
  • Public accounting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the organization’s treasury structure, including bank account administration, banking permissions and signatory authority, payment approvals, liquidity management, line of credit administration, covenant compliance, and required lender reporting.
  • Lead domestic and international tax compliance activities, including federal, state, local, and foreign filings; sales and use tax; quarterly estimates; extensions; amendments; audits; and coordination with external tax advisors.
  • Oversee the operationalization and governance of new domestic and international legal entities, including accounting setup, statutory and tax compliance, banking, payroll coordination, and ongoing reporting obligations.
  • Oversee credit and collections performance, including collection goals, DSO, bad debt reserves, write-offs, customer risk exposure, and coordination with general ledger and accounting functions.
  • Prepare and review monthly cash forecasts, liquidity reporting, and quarterly balance sheet analyses to support executive decision-making and financial planning.
  • Lead external audit processes, banking field exams, lender reporting, and valuation support activities, serving as a primary finance liaison for auditors, banks, and external advisors across all entities.
  • Maintain GSA and SAM.gov registrations for applicable entities, including labor category and pricing updates, modifications, and compliance with government contracting requirements.
  • Provide leadership, coaching, and professional development to finance personnel, including setting performance objectives, maintaining internal controls, and building organizational capability across the finance function.
  • Perform other job-related duties consistent with the scope and level of the position.
