About The Position

Under administrative direction of the City Manager, plan, organize, and direct the accounting, auditing, internal controls, accounts payable, payroll processing, revenue and expenditure recordation and budget control, long-range financial planning, debt issuance and administration, capital assets, grant accounting, purchasing functions and oversight of the Purchasing Officer, and other financial and information activities of the City and other legal entities controlled by the City; lead Citywide budget development and financial planning in support of the City Manager; oversee the administrative functions of the City Treasurer's Office without assuming the duties or authority of the elected City Treasurer; and serve as a collaborative member of the City's leadership team in developing and implementing the City's strategic direction.
