About The Position

Town and Country Resort is seeking a seasoned Director of Finance to join its Executive Committee. This role is crucial for leading one of San Diego's most dynamic resort operations, which includes 671 guest rooms, multiple restaurants and bars, and extensive meeting and event space. The ideal candidate is a strategic finance leader who can interpret financial data, influence business decisions, and guide the future of a high-volume resort. This position offers the opportunity to work in a complex and collaborative environment within the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead all accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
• Partner with the General Manager and Executive Team to drive profitability and business performance.
• Translate complex financial data into actionable business decisions.
• Oversee cash management, capital planning, audits, and compliance.
• Analyze labor, purchasing, inventory, and operational costs to identify opportunities and risks.
• Ensure financial statements are accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant.
• Develop and mentor a talented finance team.
• Participate in strategic planning and help shape the direction of the resort.
