About The Position
A fully integrated real estate investment company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada is looking to expand its capital markets investment mandate to raise external capital and setup an investment fund after several years of highly successful results. The Director of Finance will be part of a dynamic team, provide day-to-day support and will report directly to the CFO. Additionally, the Director will contribute to various functions within our Finance team. If you are passionate about delivering first-class service to investors and have an interest in capital markets, this position is an excellent fit for you!
Requirements
- CPA designation with Public Practice experience.
- A bachelor’s degree or working experience in the finance industry.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex investment concepts to investors.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of the public securities markets.
- Highly organized and strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy.
Nice To Haves
- Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and/or Exempt Market Dealer Course.
Responsibilities
- Support the setup of an Investment Fund within Pacific Reach, including support in obtaining EMD license and accredited Dealing Representative and Advising Representative status.
- Directing the financial priorities including reporting, controls, financing, audit, tax structuring of the investment fund.
- Act as the Dealing Representative under an EMD license, including performing KYC responsibilities.
- Coordinate and perform special projects as requested.
