About The Position

This is a senior finance role reporting directly to the President/CEO and serving on the executive team. The position owns the financial health of the business end-to-end. The company is looking for someone to step into a role with authority, not a build-from-scratch situation. The role is strategic, advising the CEO on growth, capital structure, and long-term planning, while also ensuring the accuracy of monthly closes, commissions, and system functionality. This position connects financial data to decision-making.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership.
  • 8 to 10 years in a senior financial leadership role.
  • Proven track record leading finance teams through growth.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and business intelligence skills.
  • Strong executive presence; ability to communicate complex financials clearly to any audience.
  • Working knowledge of Trams, Sabre, QuickBooks, and similar systems.
  • Experience with management agreements and ownership structures.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Discretion and integrity in handling sensitive financial information.

Nice To Haves

  • Travel or hospitality finance background strongly preferred.
  • Candidates at the top end of the salary range bring travel or hospitality finance experience and multi-entity consolidation depth.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, and financial systems across multiple entities and divisions.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, both consolidated and entity-level, ensuring GAAP compliance.
  • Handle cash management, banking relationships, and liquidity planning, considering seasonal demand cycles.
  • Manage corporate payroll, IC commissions, year-end W-2s and 1099s, and serve as 401(k) plan trustee, including the annual IRS 5500 filing.
  • Oversee client and vendor billing, agency data reconciliations, audits, and client reporting.
  • Administer financial systems including Trams, QuickBooks, Grasp, and related third-party platforms.
  • Manage entity formation and compliance across corporate affiliates, including registered agent requirements.
  • Conduct financial review of management contracts, franchise and brand agreements, and third-party operating agreements.
  • Perform financial due diligence on potential management and consultant engagements.
  • Develop and implement standardized financial policies, procedures, and reporting templates across the portfolio.
  • Lead a finance team and foster a culture of discipline and partnership between finance and operations.
