About the position
Affinidi is seeking a Director of Finance to join their fast-growing tech company in Singapore. Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Ops, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing the financial strategy, managing all accounting and finance functions, and providing guidance on company financial operations across multiple countries. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with the board of Directors and Executive Leadership team, and serve as a key member of the executive leadership team. The Director of Finance will also be involved in negotiating contracts, enhancing corporate governance practices, conducting financial analysis, and leading and inspiring the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the financial strategy, align it with the overall business objectives
- Take charge of all accounting and finance functions, including planning, budgeting, procurement, investments, and audit
- Engage and interact with the board of Directors, CEO, and Executive Leadership team
- Manage the budget process and provide timely reports on performance against budget
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, providing financial guidance, conducting information analysis, and offering recommendations
- Continually automate, streamline, and improve current operational and accounting processes ensuring business efficiency
- Serve as key member of the executive leadership team, provide insight and recommendations for both short-term and long-term plans of the company across four countries: Singapore, Germany, India, and Ukraine
- Collaborate with external stakeholders to negotiate contracts, financial terms, and pricing agreements, while assessing and managing financial implications to optimize value and minimize risks
- Prepare management and group management reports
- Develop, maintain, and optimize the existing reporting system
- Enhance corporate governance practices and coordinate with regional and global teams on group-wide compliance
- Conduct financial analysis to provide valuable insights for decision-making, identify risks and opportunities, and implement corrective measures
- Lead and inspire the finance team
Requirements
