About The Position

RK Electrical is seeking an engaged Director of Field Operations to align field teams, optimize performance, and drive operational consistency across commercial, industrial, and mission-critical electrical construction projects. The role partners with field and executive leadership to strengthen project execution and scale operations across the Electrical division. The Director focuses on process optimization, career development for field team members, and operational excellence, turning strategy into action and developing teams that deliver results.

Requirements

• Progressive experience in commercial electrical construction, including field management and operations across multiple concurrent projects.
• Proven experience developing, documenting, and implementing standardized operational processes across multiple projects or teams.
• Deep knowledge of electrical construction practices, project delivery methods, safety standards, labor productivity, and field operations management.
• Hands-on experience developing and delivering workforce training, coaching field leadership, and driving consistent execution of new procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for field operations across electrical construction projects by establishing standards, execution frameworks, and accountability measures.
• Lead implementation of programs, technologies, and best practices to champion operational excellence.
• Develop field leadership through coaching, training, and opportunities for increased responsibility.
• Partner with project and field leadership to improve workforce planning, scheduling, cost tracking, forecasting, and project risk management.
• Establish operational performance measures, identify process gaps, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve efficiency, accountability, and scalability.
• Develop future field leaders through mentorship, hands-on learning, and professional development.
