About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Director of Field Operations to support and strengthen our construction field teams. This leadership role will report directly to the Senior Vice President of Construction Operations and will play a key role in coordinating field execution, managing manpower, coaching field leaders, and driving operational success across our projects. This position is ideal for a hands-on construction leader who thrives in the field, develops strong teams, and drives accountability, safety, and production.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in construction management or field leadership.
  • Strong background leading teams on commercial construction projects.
  • Experience managing manpower and multi-project field operations.
  • Proven ability to coach and lead Superintendents, Foremen, and crews.
  • Commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical, or related trade experience strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
  • Strong leadership presence with excellent communication skills.
  • Highly organized and able to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety-focused mindset with strong field knowledge and practical decision-making ability.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Senior VP of Construction Operations to lead field operations across multiple projects and teams.
  • Coordinate manpower, labor planning, and workforce deployment to support project success.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop Superintendents, Foremen, and field personnel.
  • Drive accountability, productivity, and performance across active jobsites.
  • Support project teams with scheduling, logistics, and field problem-solving.
  • Ensure safety expectations are consistently upheld in the field.
  • Promote strong communication between field teams, project management, and leadership.
  • Help identify process improvements to enhance execution and efficiency.
  • Assist in resolving field challenges and maintaining project momentum.
  • Build a culture of teamwork, urgency, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
