About The Position

Icarus is seeking a Director of Facilities to own every aspect of the company's physical infrastructure. Additionally, the role includes managing contractors, vendors, construction projects, permits, and inspections, as well as developing long-term facility roadmaps. Physical security, badge access, maintenance programs, and site reliability are also key responsibilities. The ideal candidate will ensure facilities are safe, organized, and ready to support testing and production, while actively removing physical bottlenecks that slow down engineers and manufacturing.
