About The Position

ESFM is the corporate facilities management (FM) division of Compass Group USA. This position is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling functions and activities of plant operations and building renovations. ESFM self-performs 80% of all FM services provided to clients, with a portfolio including Facilities Maintenance & Engineering, ESG Programming, Laboratory Support Services, Janitorial & Industrial Cleaning, Landscaping & Grounds Management, Workplace Solutions, and Managed Services. This self-performance model creates a consistent hospitality experience for clients, resulting in higher engagement and productivity from their employees. ESFM’s clients include many household names from the life sciences, technology, oil & gas, and manufacturing markets.

Requirements

Minimum of 5 years engineering maintenance experience at Director or Assistant Director level required

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent related experience preferred
Experience in manufacturing and construction management preferred

Responsibilities

Reviews and evaluates existing programs, services, policies and procedures
Monitors flow and quality of work to assure timely completion of workload and adherence to facility’s standards and regulations using computerized programs for preventive and corrective maintenance, construction projects, financial management, and energy controls
Prepares and manages departmental budgets, including the utilities energy savings program
Provides guidance, training and motivation to staff
Successfully provides effective client rapport
Monitors work performance and prepare performance evaluations for personnel
