Director 2 - Facilities Operations
About The Position
Sodexo is searching for a Director of Facilities Operations to support a potential new client near Austin, Texas. This role will provide direction and guidance to facilities employees, maintain strong business relationships with client partners, and manage day-to-day facilities account responsibilities. The position involves overall planning, strategic innovation, and implementation of the campus plan, achieving operations and financial goals. The Director will manage IFM operations including Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, repair, Project Management, Environmental Services, Grounds and Landscaping. Strong strategic senior-level Facilities Operations leadership with excellent client skills is a must.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License with clear background is required
- Strong financial acumen
- Excellent budget reporting skills and discipline
- Strong technical and software skills are critical to success in the role
- Experience working with 3rd party contract is preferred
- Senior level direction for all major facilities projects
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of Management Experience
- Minimum 5 years of Functional Experience

Responsibilities
- Provide direction and guidance to the facilities employees

- Provide overall planning, strategic innovation and implementation of the campus plan
- Achieve operations and financial goals
- Manage IFM operations including Maintenance, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, repair, Project Management, Environmental Services, Grounds and Landscaping
- Provide strong strategic senior level Facilities Operations leadership
- Interview, train and develop staff timely to assure succession planning
- Enhance facilities goals and objectives
- Allocate resources
- Control operating expenses
- Ensure efficient operation of all departmental functions
- Lead renovation and construction projects
- Coordinate and engage architects and structural engineers
- Manage operating expenses, construction projects, major renewal and replacement projects
- Secure funding
