About The Position

The Director of Enterprise Analytics is a leadership role responsible for defining, executing, and advancing the organization’s enterprise-wide analytics strategy. This role serves as the primary owner of all analytical capabilities across the credit union, ensuring data-driven decision-making in support of growth, risk management, operational efficiency, and member value. The Director leads the development of analytics spanning credit, lending, finance, operations, risk, and strategy, transforming data into actionable insights through scalable reporting, advanced analytics, and executive-level dashboards. This role partners closely with executive leadership, Finance, Lending, Risk, and Technology to ensure analytical consistency, rigor, and alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in analytics, data, or business intelligence
  • Significant experience in financial services; credit union or banking experience preferred
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights
  • Experience partnering with Finance, Lending, Risk, and Technology leadership
  • Strong understanding of data platforms, BI tools, analytics methodologies, and governance

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a comprehensive enterprise analytics strategy that supports business growth, operational performance, and regulatory expectations.
  • Establish analytics standards, methodologies, and governance to ensure consistent, accurate, and repeatable use of data across the organization.
  • Oversee the development of advanced analytics including trend analysis, forecasting, segmentation, scenario modeling, and performance benchmarking across all functional areas.
  • Develop, maintain, and present enterprise dashboards and analytical reporting for executive leadership and the Board of Directors, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Ensure consistent measurement of performance across lending, finance, operations, risk, and member experience.
  • Lead credit and portfolio analytics including concentration analysis, credit quality trends, risk segmentation, performance monitoring, and early warning indicators.
  • Partner with Finance to support Asset-Liability Management (ALM), interest rate risk analysis, and balance sheet analytics through robust data and reporting.
  • Lead analytics for loan portfolio sales, purchases, and valuation modeling, including determining the economic and fair market value of portfolios and mortgage servicing rights (MSRs).
  • Collaborate with Lending to evaluate and validate underwriting models, credit attributes, scorecards, and decision thresholds to balance growth and credit quality.
  • Support pricing decisions for MALCO through analysis of margins, WANY, regional performance, channel performance, and competitive positioning.
  • Monitor loan performance across products and segments, identifying opportunities for optimization, policy refinement, and strategic growth.
