About The Position

As Director of Data Analytics, you will oversee the design and implementation of standardized performance measurement, reporting, and analytics across VOAMASS systems. You will play a key role in optimizing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) to meet regulatory requirements while supporting accurate CPT coding, billing integrity, and revenue cycle performance. You will partner closely with senior leadership, the Vice President of Integrated Services, and program teams to build integrated dashboards and data tools that support care coordination, population health management, and informed decision-making at all levels of the organization. The Director of Data Analytics role is about making a difference in the lives of the people we serve.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in health information and/or population health management.
  • Familiarity or experience working in hospital, clinical settings, clinical research facilities, or at a managed care entity.
  • Strong analytic background, including SQL skills and ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
  • Ability to analyze data and work efficiently with team members to develop and enforce data processes and protocols.

  • Knowledge of CPT coding, payer billing requirements, claims workflows, and healthcare reimbursement processes

Responsibilities

  • Determine strengths, barriers, and reconfiguring opportunities related to clinical data and integration with existing EHR system.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes and integrated systems for data capture, storage, and reporting.
  • Develop and maintain reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics to support clinical quality, operational performance, and drive decision making.
  • Perform data quality assurance and compliance reports and maintain data security at all times.
  • Identify and resolve any issues that arise with system analytics and accuracy of data.
  • Examine, interpret and report results of analytical initiatives to senior leadership staff, and VOAMASS program leaders.
  • Provide updated information, and analytics to support strategic objectives and integration of services and improved health outcomes.
  • Update CPT coding, insurance billing, claims activity and revenue cycle performance.
  • Partner with clinical, finance, and program leadership to ensure data systems support accurate coding, billing integrity, payer compliance, and timely submission of claims.
