About The Position

Supportive Concepts for Families (SCFF) is seeking an experienced, passionate leader to serve as the Director of Employment. This role is critical for overseeing program operations, supporting strategic growth, ensuring regulatory compliance, and empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to achieve meaningful outcomes. The Director of Employment will provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for employment and program services, partner with the Vice President of Western Region on organizational initiatives, assist with marketing and community networking, and help develop and implement new programs and contracts. This position involves monitoring financial performance, service utilization, budgets, and operational metrics, as well as overseeing Program Services Managers to ensure compliance with various agency standards. The role also includes supporting quality assurance, participating in administrator on-call responsibilities, monitoring service delivery and regulatory compliance, assisting with financial processes, and collaborating with Human Resources. The ideal candidate will promote organizational values, professionalism, teamwork, and excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of experience in administration or the human services field; OR Combination of education and work experience totaling a minimum of six (6) years
  • Strong leadership and management abilities
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple programs, priorities, and deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree
  • Three (3) to five (5) years of experience working within a non-profit organization
  • Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in human services or a related field
  • Knowledge of Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (IDD) and Mental Health services
  • Knowledge of DHS, ODP, OMHSAS, and related regulatory requirements
  • Experience with human services funding, billing, and reimbursement systems
  • Understanding of non-profit financial operations, budgeting, reporting, and recordkeeping
  • Experience with quality assurance and program oversight activities
  • Ability to hire, train, supervise, mentor, and evaluate staff
  • Strong customer service and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, oversight, and strategic direction for employment and program services throughout the Western Region.
  • Partner closely with the Vice President of Western Region on organizational initiatives, special projects, and program development.
  • Assist with marketing efforts, community networking, and relationship-building activities.
  • Help develop and implement new programs and contracts to expand services and improve outcomes.
  • Monitor financial performance, service utilization, budgets, and operational metrics.
  • Oversee Program Services Managers to ensure compliance with DHS, BHSL, ODP, OMHSAS, and agency standards.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives, audits, oversight activities, and performance improvement efforts.
  • Participate in administrator on-call responsibilities and leadership team activities.
  • Monitor service delivery, HCSIS reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Assist with budgeting, payroll oversight, billing processes, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources regarding staffing, performance evaluations, employee development, and disciplinary processes.
  • Promote organizational values, professionalism, teamwork, and excellent customer service throughout all programs.
