About The Position

Morrison Healthcare, a Compass Healthcare company, provides food and nutrition services to hospitals and healthcare systems. The Director of Dining Services oversees day-to-day foodservice operations at a new business location in Shelbyville, Kentucky. The role leads and manages employees, maintains client relationships, oversees account profitability, and supports talent development. The director also works with the chef and management team to provide nutritious, high-quality food and implements culinary programs in coordination with company marketing and culinary teams.

Requirements

Three to five years of foodservice management experience.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Financial and business acumen.
Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality preferred.
Dining experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversee account profit and loss and budgeting.
Maintain excellent relationships with the client.
Work with the chef and management team to create nutritious, high-quality food for students.
Implement new culinary programs in conjunction with the company marketing and culinary teams.
Act as a liaison between the company, client, and community.
Lead and manage a team of employees.
