About The Position
The Director of Dining Experience at Anchor Bay East Providence is responsible for the entire operation of the culinary department. This includes training and supervising all department associates, maintaining inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, managing the budget, preparing and serving food/refreshments, overseeing set-up for all meals and special events, and ensuring the cleanliness and smooth functioning of the kitchen and dining room to provide a gracious dining experience for residents. Requirements
- Food Safety certification, required
- Previous experience cooking in a similar environment
- Working under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Ability to lead a team effectively
- Lifting trays and dishes, occasionally moving dining tables and furniture
- An ability to communicate effectively with residents and co-workers
- Punctuality & reliability

- Degree in Culinary Arts or Restaurant Service, preferred
