About The Position

The Director of Digital Product Management leads the strategic vision, execution, and evolution of our digital assessment platforms in an AI-first organization. This is a highly visible, outward-facing leadership role that bridges product strategy with customer engagement, sales enablement, and innovation. The Director owns the product roadmap, champions AI-integrated practices, and serves as the external face of our product with key customers, prospects, and industry partners. They lead multiple Technology Product Owners, each responsible for a distinct platform domain, and work in close collaboration with Technology, Marketing, Sales, and the CPO to ensure our products deliver measurable clinical and business value.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead in an AI-first product environment, with working knowledge of AI/ML product development and generative AI applications
  • Exceptional executive communication skills — equally fluent presenting to key customers, the Customer Success team, a sales team, or an engineering stand-up
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to connect product decisions to business outcomes, clinical value, and market opportunity
  • Strong stakeholder management across Technology, Marketing, Sales, and C-suite
  • Proven ability to build, coach, and develop high-performing product teams
  • Experience developing customer-facing roadmaps and participating in external customer engagement
  • Comfort with ambiguity; ability to move fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and iterate
  • Deep knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and modern product management practices
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, Psychology, Business, or a related field; advanced degree a plus
  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role managing other product managers or owners
  • Hybrid schedule: minimum 3 days per week in-office at company headquarters
  • Ability to travel for key customer meetings, industry conferences, and Customer engagements (estimated 10–20% travel)
  • Prolonged periods of computer-based work; ability to present in person and virtually to diverse audiences

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in digital health, clinical technology, educational assessment, or publishing strongly preferred
  • Preferred demonstrated experience with AI-powered product development, including generative AI features or AI-assisted engineering workflows
  • Proven track record of engaging directly with key customers and Customer Success teams in a product leadership capacity (roadmap presentations, feedback sessions, etc.)
  • Experience partnering with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market strategy and product positioning
  • Hands-on experience managing multi-team product backlogs and release planning across parallel scrum teams

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the multi-horizon product roadmap for the digital assessment platform, aligned to the company’s strategy to digitize and deliver psychological content
  • Champion AI-first development practices; set standards for responsible, quality-assured AI-generated development
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities to digitize assessment content and workflows, reducing manual processes and expanding platform scalability
  • Stay at the forefront of AI, assessment technology, and digital publishing trends; translate industry signals into actionable product decisions
  • Serve as an outward-facing product leader — present roadmaps and strategic direction to key customers, the Customer Success team, and at industry conferences
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to support pre-sales product conversations, RFP responses, and prospect roadmap sessions that demonstrate platform innovation
  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers to gather deep insight into clinical workflows, unmet needs, and feature priorities
  • Represent the product organization at external events, panels, and industry forums relevant to psychological assessment and digital health
  • Maintain a prioritized, transparent product backlog aligned to business value, customer impact, and ROI across all three scrum teams
  • Collaborate with CTO, CPO, and Director of Architecture (Steering Committee) on prioritization, release planning, sprint goals, and impediment resolution
  • Establish a rhythm of roadmap transparency — sharing forward-looking plans with key customers, marketing, and sales stakeholders on a regular cadence
  • Own product performance metrics tied to business outcomes, including platform adoption, customer retention, revenue impact, and feature utilization; report progress to the executive team on a regular cadence
  • Partner with the Director of Product on a structured, regular cadence to incorporate content readiness and timelines as direct inputs into the digital product roadmap — ensuring platform priorities and content development are sequenced and aligned
  • Lead cross-functional program delivery for high-visibility initiatives that span departments outside of Product and Technology — including scope definition, milestone tracking, risk management, and executive-level reporting
  • Serve as the connective layer between Product, Technology, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success on strategic initiatives — ensuring alignment on goals, accountability, and delivery timelines
  • Proactively identify cross-functional dependencies, surface risks early, and drive resolution across organizational boundaries without direct authority
  • In collaboration with CPO and Director of Product, partner with Marketing to translate product capabilities into compelling go-to-market messaging, launch plans, and content for clinician and enterprise audiences
  • Equip the Sales team with roadmap narratives, product positioning, and competitive differentiation materials
  • Participate in win/loss reviews, customer feedback loops, and market research to continuously sharpen product-market fit
  • Lead the execution of the company’s digital content strategy — transforming static psychological assessment content into dynamic, digitally-enhanced products
  • Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, partnerships, and platform capabilities that accelerate content digitization and delivery
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and innovation within the product team, with structured processes for ideation, prototyping, and validation
  • Maintain close alignment with the Director of Product on content digitization priorities — the content team originates the assessments; this role owns the platform that delivers them. Collaboration on digitization sequencing, format requirements, and delivery readiness is essential for platform and content to move in lockstep
