About The Position

In this role, you will own Preservica's content and communications engine - driving visibility, engagement, and demand generation across our key vertical markets. You will lead a modern, AI-powered content and communications strategy that puts Preservica in front of buyers wherever they are researching — from AI search tools like Gemini, Copilot and ChatGPT, to LinkedIn feeds, email inboxes, and trade publications. You won't just be aware of how AI is reshaping buyer behaviour — you'll be ahead of it, building programmes that capitalize on it. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role for someone who already utilizes AI tools daily to optimize and scale output without sacrificing quality or brand voice – understanding that great content and smart distribution are at the heart of modern B2B demand generation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years in B2B content or marketing communications, preferably in SaaS or tech
  • Working knowledge of GEO and how AI search is reshaping B2B buyer behavior + prove it
  • Exceptional writer who adapts voice and format across audiences and channels
  • Strong LinkedIn organic and paid expertise, including ABM-aligned targeting
  • Proven ability to manage and hold external PR agencies accountable to results
  • Solid grasp of digital communications: social, email, and SEO
  • Experience managing direct reports with a collaborative, empowering style
  • Hands-on with marketing automation (HubSpot or Pardot preferred) for email, nurture, and reporting
  • Fluent with AI writing tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Jasper, etc.) to scale content production
  • Data-driven, with comfort in Google Analytics, LinkedIn Insights, HubSpot, or Salesforce
  • Highly organized — able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • BA or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with government, archives, higher ed, financial services, or records management.
  • ABM platform experience or structured ABM campaign execution.
  • Experience supporting executive thought leadership and spokesperson programs.
  • Background in digital preservation, information governance, or enterprise content management.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a content strategy optimised for AI-powered search tools (Google Gemini, Copilot, ChatGPT), ensuring Preservica surfaces where buyers research.
  • Align with traditional SEO and use AI tools to scale output without sacrificing quality.
  • Develop content and campaign assets supporting ABM programs across priority verticals
  • Own Preservica's LinkedIn strategy and broader social media presence, driving persona-level engagement that builds pipeline
  • Work closely with Marketing Demand Managers to create and manage lead gen content (tip sheets, infographics, email sequences, landing pages) for key personas across verticals
  • Own the editorial calendar and partner with Demand Generation to feed nurture workflows and support conversion goals.
  • Produce press materials, blogs, whitepapers, case studies, and product announcements
  • Develop and evolve Preservica's messaging frameworks, translating complex topics in digital preservation and information governance into compelling narratives
  • Appoint & manage PR agency relationships to drive thought leadership in vertical trade publications and build direct relationships with key journalists and analysts
  • Line manage a small team, brief and hold agencies accountable, and act as a communications advisor to senior leadership
