We’re looking for a good old-fashioned Word Whisperer—someone who understands that prose are as important to a world-class brand as visuals. The Director of Communications will be responsible for overseeing the execution of a range of high-impact communications programs; building and leading a team of exceptional communications professionals; and partnering closely with leadership at the company to set strategy.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in communications, content strategy, copywriting, or related fields
  • Proven experience leading content and communication design initiatives, particularly in brand, sales, marketing, and customer-facing collateral.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills across a range of formats and audiences
  • Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, messaging frameworks, and content systems
  • Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, matrixed organizations
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
  • Background in UX writing or content design for S.a.a.S
  • Experience in healthcare technology or related industries
  • Familiarity with accessibility and inclusive content best practices
  • Experience using analytics and research to inform content decisions

  • Must be willing & able to travel on-site in Orlando, Florida at least 2x per year.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead a comprehensive communications strategy aligned with business and brand objectives
  • Own our brand voice, tone, and messaging and ensure it’s continuity and cohesion across all platforms and touchpoints
  • Oversee content design and copywriting for all externally facing touchpoints
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a team of writers and operators
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with brand, product, marketing, operations, and leadership teams to ensure cohesive storytelling
  • Establish content standards, guidelines, and governance to maintain quality and consistency
  • Drive content strategy for key initiatives including product launches, campaigns, and thought leadership
  • Review, approve, and coordinate the delivery of mass customer communications
  • Use data and insights to optimize messaging and improve audience engagement
  • Manage external agencies, freelancers, and vendors as needed
