About The Position

The Director of Diagnostic Imaging provides strategic and operational leadership for all imaging services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role is responsible for driving clinical excellence, maintaining regulatory compliance, and optimizing departmental performance. The Director leads a multidisciplinary team, enhances workflow efficiency, and supports initiatives that improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Requirements

• Associate Degree required
• ARRT Certification required
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Diagnostic Imaging
• At least 1 year of leadership experience at the Director level required

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department
• Lead and mentor a team of technologists and supervisors (~50 FTEs)
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and workflow optimization
• Foster a collaborative, high-performance team culture
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
• Maintain a strong focus on patient safety and quality of care
• Implement and monitor performance and quality improvement initiatives
• Manage departmental budget, equipment, and supply utilization
• Drive cost-effective operations and resource optimization
• Support capital planning and equipment lifecycle management
• Partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams
• Align departmental goals with organizational objectives
• Contribute to strategic planning and operational excellence initiatives
