About The Position

This role is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders in the hotel and real estate industry to generate leads and identify development opportunities for growth in the Caribbean and Latin America regions. The position involves leveraging a diverse network to gather market intelligence, assess opportunities, and support decision-making. The Director will evaluate the industry landscape to ensure Hilton remains a leader with a world-class product and contribute ideas across various business areas including design, operations, legal, and technology. Responsibilities include reviewing markets in the Caribbean and Latin America to uncover new opportunities, researching developer and competitor activities, identifying potential prospects, negotiating franchise and management agreements, and presenting deals to the Franchise and Managed Committee for approval. The role also includes supervising three direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration or a related field.
  • Three (3) years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or related occupation.
  • Experience in hospitality, franchise, or real estate sales and B2B client management.
  • Experience managing investor relations and high-profile clients.
  • Experience in hotel development.
  • Experience negotiating high-value, complex hotel agreements.
  • Experience researching and identifying areas for global market growth.
  • Experience presenting deals and ideas to stakeholders.
  • Experience pitching commercial deals to external parties.
  • Experience performing hotel feasibility and investment analysis.
  • Experience working within the Latin American market.
  • Experience designing and implementing growth strategies.
  • Certificate of Real Estate Investments and Hotel Asset Management or related certification.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in the hotel and real estate industry to generate leads aligned with agreed strategies and standards and to identify development opportunities for growth.
  • Formulate and leverage a diverse network of contacts to strengthen the ability to gather and assess quality market intelligence, identify opportunities, and support informed decisions on pursuing them.
  • Help evaluate the industry landscape to ensure Hilton remains an industry leader offering a world-class product.
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations across all areas of the business, including design, operations, legal, and technology.
  • Review markets in the Caribbean and Latin America to uncover new opportunities, research real estate developer and competitor activities (in compliance with Corporate Policy), and identify potential prospects for legitimate pursuit.
  • Negotiate franchise and management agreements.
  • Present deals to the Franchise and Managed Committee for approval.
  • Supervise three (3) direct reports.
