About The Position
Horizons, A Family Service Alliance is seeking a committed and energetic Full Time Director of Development to advance our mission and secure resources for our programs and services. For 65 years, Horizons has been dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families across Eastern Iowa through programs including Transportation, the Financial Wellness Center, and Meals on Wheels.
Requirements
- Skill in building and maintaining positive relationships with donors, community members, and colleagues
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently
- Strong public speaking and communication skills

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement fundraising strategies
- Cultivate donor relationships
- Oversee grant applications and reporting
- Collaborate with the leadership team to set fundraising goals
