This opportunity may be based out of other Reyes Beverage Group locations. The Director of Demand Planning & Purchasing will develop a strategic demand and supply plan for the supply chain team to execute against. This role will manage against specific goals for inventory days on hand, customer service levels, forecast accuracy, inventory waste, and employee engagement. The Director will work proactively with suppliers to maximize inventory effectiveness and reduce waste. They will also develop recommendations for capital, operating, and staffing budgets, and manage the Demand & Purchase Planning budget to ensure achievement of company targets and efficient allocation of resources. Additionally, the Director will lead the team through effective hiring, orienting, training, mentoring, and coaching activities, developing a staffing plan that meets organization and customer expectations while considering financial constraints. Key performance indicators will be enforced within the team to manage the effectiveness of the Demand and Supply Planning process, such as mean average percentage error (MAPE) for the demand forecast, inventory days on hand (DOH), and customer out-of-stock rate. Other projects or duties may be assigned.
