The University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) is seeking a Director of Custodial Services to provide strategic leadership, administrative oversight, and operational direction for custodial services across the campus. This role involves developing and implementing strategies for custodial services, workforce management, performance metrics, quality assurance, and resource allocation to support the university's mission and facility stewardship goals. The Director will oversee campus-wide operations through subordinate supervisors, set departmental priorities, and advise Facilities Services leadership on service delivery, operational efficiency, and long-term planning. Key responsibilities include custodial master planning, campus appearance strategy, sustainability initiatives, service-level optimization, and performance benchmarking. The position requires developing long-range operational plans, establishing key performance indicators, and utilizing industry benchmarking to drive continuous improvement. Collaboration with campus leadership, auxiliary units, Housing, Event Services, Public Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, and Facilities partners is essential. The Director may act on behalf of the Executive Director and will respond to campus emergencies and support weather-related operations.
