About The Position

The Director of Corporate Partnerships and Giving is a strategic philanthropy leader responsible for advancing and expanding corporate engagement, sponsorships, and charitable investment opportunities in support of the Bronson Health Foundation’s mission. Reporting directly to the Vice President of Philanthropy/Foundation, this role will lead the development and execution of a comprehensive corporate giving strategy designed to significantly increase philanthropic revenue, deepen regional and national business partnerships, and strengthen alignment between corporate philanthropy and organizational priorities. This position is being established in recognition of substantial untapped growth potential in corporate giving beyond the Foundation’s traditional markets. The Director will build and steward a focused portfolio of corporate relationships while creating scalable strategies to expand partnerships across broader regional and national markets. The role will also provide leadership to a dedicated corporate giving team, ensuring disciplined execution, measurable outcomes, and long-term relationship development. The Director will serve as a key strategic partner to the Vice President, enabling a differentiated approach in which principal-level corporate relationships and transformational giving opportunities remain aligned at the executive level while broader corporate engagement efforts are expanded through focused leadership and operational excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in philanthropy, corporate partnerships, business development, sponsorship sales, or strategic relationship management.
  • Demonstrated success securing significant corporate contributions, sponsorships, or partnership revenue.
  • Experience leading growth-oriented initiatives and building high-performing teams preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business development capabilities.
  • Proven ability to cultivate and influence senior corporate leaders and executive stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to develop innovative partnership models that align mission impact with corporate objectives.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership presence, professionalism, and executive-level judgment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive corporate philanthropy strategy that drives significant growth in sponsorships, charitable contributions, cause-marketing partnerships, and corporate engagement opportunities.
  • Identify and pursue new corporate giving opportunities beyond traditional service areas, including regional and national partnerships aligned with the Foundation’s mission and strategic priorities.
  • Establish scalable relationship development strategies that expand corporate participation across healthcare, manufacturing, financial services, retail, technology, and other key industries.
  • Analyze market trends, corporate social responsibility priorities, and philanthropic giving patterns to identify emerging opportunities for partnership growth.
  • Manage a portfolio of corporate partners and prospects with responsibility for cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and long-term engagement.
  • Develop customized partnership opportunities that align organizational priorities with corporate community investment goals.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership, physicians, operational leaders, and Foundation stakeholders to create compelling funding opportunities and sponsorship initiatives.
  • Ensure exceptional stewardship practices that strengthen retention, increase annual support, and elevate long-term partnership value.
  • Baseline the corporate giving and develop a plan to increase corporate giving by 100% in 18 months
  • Partner closely with the Vice President of the Foundation to ensure strategic alignment across all corporate giving activities.
  • Support a tiered engagement model in which the Vice President maintains direct involvement with select high-capacity corporate relationships and principal gift opportunities, while the Director leads broader corporate growth initiatives and pipeline development.
  • Establish a portfolio where CEO Bill Manns can be engaged along with Bronson leadership
  • Provide strategic recommendations regarding partnership prioritization, sponsorship opportunities, and revenue optimization strategies.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop team members responsible for corporate partnerships, event sponsorship, sponsorship operations, and donor engagement activities.
  • Establish clear performance expectations, metrics, and accountability measures tied to revenue growth and relationship outcomes.
  • Create efficient systems for pipeline management, stewardship tracking, proposal development, and reporting.
  • Collaborate across Foundation teams to ensure coordinated engagement strategies and consistent donor experiences.
  • Represent the Foundation in the community, at corporate events, industry forums, and regional partnership meetings.
  • Strengthen awareness of the Foundation’s impact and position the organization as a premier philanthropic and community investment partner.
  • Build collaborative relationships with chambers of commerce, economic development organizations, industry associations, and business leaders.
