About The Position

PermaCorp is seeking a proven construction leader to own their project delivery process end-to-end, from submittal through installation and new build oversight. This role involves building systems to support growth, leading a team of five Project Managers across two provinces, providing oversight on new build construction projects, driving the adoption of their project management platform (Wrike), and ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced individual ready to build process infrastructure for future growth.

  • Experience owning and managing project delivery processes end-to-end.

  • Experience with new build construction projects.
  • Experience driving adoption and enforcement of project management platforms (specifically Wrike mentioned).
  • Experience with financial and budget management for projects.
  • Experience with field and subcontractor oversight.
  • Ability to build process infrastructure for growth.
  • Knowledge of what 'good' looks like in project delivery.
  • Ability to travel to Alberta and Ontario job sites.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and performance management of Project Managers.
  • Conduct PM quality control by reviewing active projects, identifying issues early, and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Coach PMs on submittals, scheduling, site coordination, and client communication.
  • Build a culture of accountability across a geographically dispersed team.
  • Own and enforce the end-to-end project delivery process, from submittal receipt through installation and closeout.
  • Drive full adoption of Wrike across the PM team, refining the existing framework and ensuring its use.
  • Build guardrails and workflows for handling submittals, RFIs, and day-to-day issues at the appropriate level.
  • Standardize project management across both provinces for fast and consistent onboarding of new PMs.
  • Spearhead the implementation of project budgets for all active and future projects.
  • Work with leadership to build a budgeting framework aligned with the updated pricing model.
  • Track project-level financial performance and flag variances early.
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities across installation, subcontractor, and delivery spend.
  • Provide construction oversight on new build projects from award through completion.
  • Monitor project milestones, site progress, and delivery schedules against plan.
  • Coordinate between internal teams, general contractors, and trade partners on active new builds.
  • Identify and flag construction risks early.
  • Ensure new build projects meet quality standards and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee subcontractor performance and manage relationships with install companies.
  • Support the internal installation team by improving efficiency and resolving on-site issues.
  • Act as the escalation point for field issues that PMs cannot resolve independently.
  • Travel to Alberta and Ontario job sites as required.
