The Director of Communications and Marketing leads communications for ARC and serves as a strategic partner to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and department leads. This is a highly visible, hands-on role for a strategic thinker who is equally strong at execution: someone who can set direction, build the plan, and orchestrate the people, partners, and resources needed to deliver results. The role includes oversight of dedicated contractor resourcing and budgeting, independently determining how those resources are best deployed. This is an entrepreneurial opportunity to build, shape, and grow ARC's communications function, increasing its capabilities, reach, and impact as the organization evolves. Reporting to the CEO, this position serves as a strategic communications partner to both the development team and program leadership, helping to strengthen engagement across the people and organizations ARC serves. This includes translating awareness and interest into philanthropic support while leading ARC's broader communications portfolio across brand, digital experience, website, email, social media, program, and event communications. The Director owns planning, timelines, cross-organizational collaboration, and measures what works to adapt strategy over time. This is an exciting opportunity to work at a growing organization, with a team that values a diversity of experience and demonstrates an unwavering commitment to the amyloidosis community.
