About The Position

Home Health Advantage, Inc. is seeking an accomplished Registered Nurse leader to serve as their Director of Clinical Services (DCS), RN – Home Health. This executive leadership position offers the opportunity to lead an exceptional clinical team, shape the future of patient care delivery, and drive strategic initiatives that support organizational growth and clinical excellence. The Director of Clinical Services is responsible for the overall leadership, direction, and performance of the agency's clinical operations. This role provides strategic oversight of multidisciplinary clinical teams while ensuring regulatory compliance, quality outcomes, operational efficiency, and an exceptional patient and employee experience.

Requirements

  • Current Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
  • Minimum of three to five years of progressive leadership experience in a Medicare-certified Home Health Agency.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Manager, Director of Nursing, Director of Patient Care Services, or Director of Clinical Services strongly preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of Medicare Conditions of Participation, OASIS, QAPI, and home health regulations.
  • Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary clinical teams and managing agency operations.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
  • Strong computer and electronic medical record proficiency.
  • Only candidates with recent leadership experience in a Medicare-certified Home Health Agency will be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Provide executive oversight and direction of all clinical operations and patient care services.
  • Lead and develop Clinical Managers and multidisciplinary clinical teams.
  • Establish clinical goals, operational objectives, and performance standards.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and clinical excellence.
  • Identify and implement strategic initiatives to improve patient outcomes and operational performance.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicare Conditions of Participation, accreditation standards, and all state and federal regulations.
  • Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities.
  • Oversee OASIS accuracy, documentation compliance, and quality outcomes.
  • Direct survey readiness activities and regulatory preparedness initiatives.
  • Monitor and improve agency quality metrics and patient satisfaction indicators.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.
  • Participate in developing operational plans, budgets, staffing models, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Monitor clinical productivity, utilization management, and operational performance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with physicians, referral sources, hospitals, and community partners.
  • Mentor and develop future clinical leaders within the organization.
