Marana Health is seeking a Director of Clinical Informatics and Applications to join the Information Technology team at the Marana Main Health Center, located in the heart of Marana, AZ. The Director of Clinical Informatics and Applications is responsible for leading the organization’s clinical informatics strategy, clinical systems optimization initiatives, and enterprise clinical application operations to improve provider efficiency, patient outcomes, operational performance, and data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role serves as a strategic leader and key liaison between clinical operations, information technology, analytics, quality, revenue cycle, and executive leadership to ensure clinical technologies effectively support organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and patient care delivery. The Director provides strategic oversight for electronic health record (EHR) optimization, clinical workflow redesign, clinical application support, provider adoption, operational standardization, and implementation of emerging healthcare technologies. The Director of Clinical Informatics and Applications lead enterprise initiatives focused on workflow optimization, provider engagement, patient access, revenue integrity, quality improvement, and operational efficiency. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining governance structures related to clinical applications, change management, workflow standardization, and system adoption across the organization. The Director provides strategic leadership and oversight for the Clinical Informatics team and Clinical Applications function, including direct supervision of Clinical Informatics staff and leadership oversight of the Applications Support Manager. This role establishes departmental priorities, optimization of roadmaps, governance structures, operational standards, and long-term strategic initiatives aligned with organizational goals and clinical transformation efforts. This position also collaborates closely with operational leadership, medical leadership, nursing leadership, analytics and executive stakeholders to support organizational transformation through clinical technology innovation and process improvement.
