About The Position

The Director of Central Supply Chain Planning leads the end-to-end planning function across the semiconductor manufacturing network. This role is accountable for delivering a single, aligned plan that optimizes supply, cycle time, and constrained capacity while balancing customer commitments. Operating as a peer to Fab Planning and Back-End Planning leaders, you will lead a team of experts in planning and leverage technology to rapidly respond to customer changes. You will bring a passion for continually improving and driving KPIs including delivery performance, factory utilization and profitability. This includes driving cross-stage synchronization, scenario-based decision making, and system enabled planning transformation leveraging Blue Yonder.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing, supply strategy, advanced planning solutions, semiconductor foundry practices, factory operations and planning best practices.
  • Technical expertise in supply chain planning, strategy, operations, and optimization.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical data and apply insights to supply chain solutions.
  • Proven track record of building and leading effective teams in a global, cross-functional environment.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and strategic decision-making skills.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership and stakeholders with data-driven insights.
  • Bachelor's or BS degree in a specialized field (e.g., Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Business Management, engineering) or equivalent experience per business needs.
  • 12 or more years of supply chain experience with a Bachelor's degree, 8 or more years with a Master's degree, or 6 or more years with a PhD.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with semiconductor supply foundry chain best practices, especially across multiple stages.
  • Hands on experience with Blue Yonder supply chain management in a semiconductor manufacturing foundry environment.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Work well in highly matrixed, cross-organizational and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong business sense, and technically savvy.
  • Strong self-initiative and persistence, ability to deal with a high degree of ambiguity, and drive clarity in key areas.
  • Willingness to handle many complex tasks and deadline pressure while maintaining a high attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Supply Planning Leadership: Own the integrated supply plan across wafer fab, bump, sort, wafer level assembly, and assembly test. Align demand, supply, and inventory strategies to meet customer commit dates and revenue targets. Drive trade-off decisions across stages. Establish planning policies across the network.
  • Capacity & Constraint Management: Model and optimize constrained resources across the network. Quantify trade-offs (e.g., impact of non-value-added WIP on bottleneck tools). Drive prioritization frameworks for high-value products under constraint. Lead scenario analysis for capacity expansions, mix changes, and disruptions.
  • Cross-Stage Orchestration: Partner closely with Fab Planning (front-end capacity and wafer starts), Advanced Packaging Planning (bump, sort, and wafer level assembly), Back-End Planning (assembly and test), and Customer Order Management. Ensure alignment between commit plans and actual execution.
  • Performance Management & KPIs: Define and manage end to end planning KPIs, including: On time delivery, Total cycle time, Inventory turns / WIP levels.
  • System & Planning Transformation with Blue Yonder: Own design, deployment, and continuous improvement of planning processes within Blue Yonder. Drive adoption of advanced capabilities: Constraint-based planning, Allocation and prioritization logic, Scenario planning and simulations. Translate business rules into system parameters (lead times, yields, batching, pegging logic). Partner with IT and digital teams on roadmap and enhancements.
  • Team Leadership & Organizational Design: Build and lead a high-performing central planning team. Define roles across end to end planners, scenario analysts, and system experts. Develop talent with deep semiconductor and advanced planning expertise. Foster a data-driven, decision-oriented culture.
