About The Position

Recruit Secure is collaborating with an established and successful Home Healthcare company that is looking for a dynamic Director of Business Development for direct hire. The Director of Business Development will be responsible to promote and expand the company’s market position. The Healthcare company services all NYC boroughs and Nassau County. The successful candidate will have experience in the Healthcare field (Home Healthcare is preferred), and has successfully created and implemented business plans, and hired Marketers to develop and expand key customer relationships. Additionally, the Director of Business Development should have experience utilizing the Internet and Social Media to expand their marketing network and manage their social media presence. This position reports to the Executive Director and is based in Brooklyn. A generous base salary, full benefits package and bonuses are offered.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in healthcare sales, business development, or healthcare marketing.
  • 2+ years of leadership experience managing business development or sales teams in the healthcare or home care sector.
  • Deep knowledge of industry dynamics, referral networks, and client acquisition strategies.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM software, Medicare, Medicaid, MLTC, and managed care environments.

Nice To Haves

  • Home Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Experience utilizing the Internet and Social Media to expand marketing network and manage social media presence.

Responsibilities

  • Direct all business development operations, including planning, execution, and performance monitoring.
  • Develop annual departmental goals, outreach plans, and referral strategies in collaboration with executive leadership.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and supervise business development staff to drive results.
  • Monitor department KPIs and adjust initiatives to meet and exceed growth targets.
  • Identify, develop, and manage relationships with key referral sources, including hospitals, physicians, case managers, social workers, senior centers, and community organizations.
  • Oversee the execution of targeted outreach campaigns, including presentations, health fairs, and educational events.
  • Build and maintain a strong referral network to ensure a continuous flow of qualified leads.
  • Collaborate with the Intake and Care Coordination teams to ensure smooth client onboarding.
