About The Position

SIR Management Consultants (Generations Healthcare Network) in Lincolnwood, IL, seeks a Talented Director of Business Development for our Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facilities (SMHRFs) in Chicago and Central Illinois. This Position is Seated at our Corporate Offices in Lincolnwood, IL, but travel to Area Hospitals, Clinics, our Facilities, and Community Events is Required. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with psychiatric healthcare marketing and public relations
  • Extensive experience in reviewing psychiatric patient medical records to determine appropriateness of the placement in our facilities
  • Experience with building census in psych facilities
  • Knowledge and experience with the needs of RESIDENTIAL Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Care facilities
  • Must already have contacts with referral sources at psychiatric facilities, clinics, physicians/psychologists and hospitals
  • Excellent presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills
  • Creativity in terms of marketing strategies
  • Ability to multi-task

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing and processing placement requests from referring sources, i.e. hospital discharge planners
  • Phone screening consumers and making hospital visits to meet potential consumers
  • Building relationships with doctors, social workers, discharge planners, case managers, Psych Rehab Directors
  • Develop and implement overall marketing plan to increase referrals and census for 5 psychiatric facilities
  • Updating marketing database for referrals of physicians, hospitals, social workers, etc., in the psychiatric community
  • Oversee development and production of marketing materials for facilities
  • Responsible for hiring, onboarding, coaching and supervision of Centralized Intake staff; may assist with recruitment and training of new intake personnel
  • Organize and facilitate promotional events, including health fairs, conferences and open facility open houses
  • Develop and conduct in-service trainings as necessary
  • Consult with Vice President of Business Development in terms of marketplace trends
