About The Position

Landmark Hospitals is expanding its team and seeking a results-driven, relationship-first Director of Business Development (DBD) to build our referral pipeline into our long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) in Columbia, Missouri. This is a hunter-and-farmer role: you'll open doors with hospital case managers, physicians, and discharge planners across the Columbia area, and you'll close by getting the right medically complex patients matched to the right level of care. It's also a leadership role — you'll support, coach, and help drive the success of the 3–4 Clinical Liaisons aligned to the Columbia market, while developing and executing the strategy that grows the market overall. If you love healthcare sales, know how to earn trust with clinical stakeholders, and want to build and lead a territory from the ground up, we want to talk!

  • Comfortable interpreting clinical information well enough to advise on patient appropriateness for admission
  • Proficient in MS Office and standard web/CRM applications
  • Able to travel extensively by car within the market, with valid auto insurance
