About The Position

Boulder Care is hiring its first Director of Brand to lead how the organization builds trust with the people and communities it serves. The role owns the brand, content, and creative system, making Boulder’s promise clear and credible across digital positioning, patient stories, campaigns, social media, community partnerships, and materials that help people choose care. This is a builder role focused on creating and maturing a brand function. The Director will turn a new messaging platform and visual refresh into a working system, lead an internal team and external partners, and develop a brand investment strategy with learning loops. The role reports to the Chief Growth Officer and works closely with Communications, Product, Clinical, and Commercial leadership. Boulder Care is an award-winning digital clinic for addiction medicine, founded in 2017. It provides virtual, multidisciplinary care—including medical providers and peer recovery specialists—and personalized treatment such as medication for opioid use disorder and ongoing support. Its approach emphasizes clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and reducing barriers to recovery. Boulder partners with health plans, employers, and community organizations to improve access to care. This is a full-time, 100% remote position. Availability during standard business hours is expected, with flexibility to support business needs. Travel up to 15% is expected for team gatherings, production, partnership activations, and key company events. Teammates handling sensitive information must have a dedicated private workspace with a lockable door and high-speed internet. Employees may use Boulder’s riverfront headquarters in Portland, Oregon. The starting pay range is $175,000–$190,000. Base pay may vary based on market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Total compensation may include additional elements and benefits.
