About The Position

The Director of Beverage is responsible for meeting financial, guest, and team member KPIs. This role involves analyzing and addressing deficiencies with appropriate resources, working with surveillance to prevent theft, and maintaining inventory control. The Director will audit invoices, transfer sheets, daily cost controls, and beverage pricing across various systems to ensure accuracy. They are expected to understand and utilize management tools to achieve budgetary, quality control, service standards, and financial goals within the Beverage Department. This role also requires communicating activities to the Vice President of Food and Beverage, attending necessary meetings, and contributing to daily property "huddles". Additionally, the Director is expected to support and empower their team, own their operations, build trusting relationships, engage and communicate effectively, elevate performance through coaching, develop talent, and champion collaboration.

Requirements

  • Must have comprehensive beverage knowledge, which includes profit and loss statements, cost control, menu planning, budgeting, training, inventory control and purchasing.
  • Must be able to manage time effectively with minimum supervision.
  • Must be able to handle a flexible work schedule.
  • Must be 21 and able to obtain all necessary work cards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and recognize deficiencies or problem areas and provide corrective material, financial and personnel resources to accomplish desired results.
  • Work in conjunction with surveillance to stop theft.
  • Maintain cost of goods sheets for outlets and perpetual inventories.
  • Responsible for auditing invoices, transfer sheets and daily cost controls.
  • Audit price points in beverage matrix and match to Infogenesis.
  • Audit all Infogenesis beverage screens for accuracy.
  • Monitor all beverage books and point of sales for accuracy.
  • Understand and utilize all management tools with the department team to achieve all budgetary, quality control, service standards and financial goals in the daily operation of the Beverage Department.
  • Communicate activities to the Vice President of Food and Beverage.
  • Attend all meetings deemed necessary by the Executive Group, and the Vice President of Food and Beverage.
  • Contribute information for daily “huddles” for all properties.
