ON Site is the in-house division of ON Services, a national provider of live event production solutions supporting corporate events, trade shows, and venue-based experiences. ON Site partners directly with hospitality venues to deliver seamless audio visual services as an integrated part of the venue team. ON Site is seeking a Director of Audio Visual to lead and manage audio visual services within a hospitality environment. This role is responsible for the overall performance of on-site AV operations, including sales, client relations, financial oversight, and team leadership. This position plays a critical role in ensuring successful event execution while maintaining strong property relationships and delivering a high level of service to both venue partners and end-user clients. The Director of Audio Visual is expected to lead by example, uphold operational standards, and drive continuous improvement across all aspects of the business.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Six years’ experience with in-house audio visual services
  • Strong written, verbal, and comprehension skills in English
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of business operation fundamentals including profit and loss, inventory control, and logistics
  • Ability to work well under deadlines and high-pressure environments with strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Background in music, recording, audio visual, computers, or related technology fields preferred
  • Second language helpful

Responsibilities

  • Overall management of audio visual services in a hospitality environment
  • Emphasis on sales, property relations, account management, equipment and labor scheduling, personnel management
  • Train, mentor, and coach direct reports
  • Equipment inventory and quality control
  • Ensure billing and accounting functions are accurate and in compliance with SOX guidelines
  • Understand financial reports to inform and facilitate process and profit improvement
  • Promote exemplary customer service to both facility customer/partner and end-user clients
  • Maintain a professional image, as well as a safe and healthy work environment
  • Complete all required daily paperwork and ON Site training
